Membership in Elevations Co-operative Inc is governed by the Ontario Co-operative Act.
Membership is available to those 16 years old and above. This is awarded when membership application and requirements have been and approved by the board of Directors of Elevations Co-op.
Minimum requirement is purchase of at least one lifetime membership share, at share at $200 and agreement to abide by the bylaws of the Co-op.one time
Members may purchase additional shares up to $1000 annually. The maximum lifetime share purchase per member is $10000 per the Co-operative Act.
Corporate Membership
•Non-profit and business corporations may become members of co-ops. Unincorporated associations may not be members directly.
•However, any of the association’s members may join a co-op and represent it.
Joint membership
We allow joint membership of two or more persons to form joint membership .

Elevations Co-operative Inc is incorporated; no member is personally liable for its debts.
Every person on becoming a member receives a legally binding share certificate recognizing the share type. All monies received are accountable; we are auditable.
Complete membership application, and email to us at info@elsci.ca. Your certificate will be emailed or mailed to you upon approval of your membership application.
